Your new role involves playing a key role within a busy and high-performing property team, supporting a wide range of estate management and transactional work. You will manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced legal professionals on complex real estate matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of real estate transactions including licences to assign, licences for alterations, deeds of variation, and deeds of easement
- Drafting legal documentation such as contracts for sale, transfers, and client correspondence
- Reviewing and handling lease documentation, identifying defects, and preparing modern lease formats based on standard precedents
- Supporting conveyancing processes from instruction through to completion
- Assisting with onboarding and compliance, including file opening procedures, drafting retainer letters, and ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering regulations

What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous legal experience, ideally gained within a commercial real estate or property law environment
- A strong academic background, including a Law degree (2:1 or equivalent) or relevant qualification

- A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with the confidence to use your own initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
