Your new company
This global insurance provider operates in multiple jurisdictions, specialising in re-insurance for mid-sized businesses.
Your new role
You will join on an interim 3-month contract, focusing on litigation. Your responsibilities include:
- Advising claim handlers on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Reporting to the Head of Litigation and assisting with pre-litigation and litigated claims.
- Providing advice on regulatory and vendor contract matters.
- Ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and external counsel.
- Supporting the development of new systems and processes. Collaborating with legal teams across various regions, including Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the US.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Immediate availability with a current practising certificate as a solicitor of England and Wales.
- At least 6 years of post-qualification experience (guideline).
- Experience in team and stakeholder management.
- Strong background in insurance coverage, including litigation and arbitration.
- Experience in regulatory and vendor contract management.
- Previous experience managing litigation for a re-insurer is preferred or a background from a top-tier law firm.
