Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join a fast-paced digital product team on an initial 3-month contract. This role will focus on creating intuitive, user-centred digital experiences across web and mobile platforms, combining user research, UX design, UI design, and collaborative product delivery. Contract Length: 3 months initially Pay - attractive daily rate (inside IR35) Support research activities, usability testing, and discovery initiatives to understand customer needs and behaviours. Analyse research findings and translate insights into actionable design recommendations. Use customer feedback, behavioural data, and product metrics to inform design solutions. UX & Product Design Design end-to-end user journeys and digital experiences across multiple channels. UI Design & Prototyping Create responsive designs for web and mobile applications across multiple devices and screen sizes. Contribute to design systems, component libraries, and reusable design patterns. Champion accessibility, consistency, and design quality across all digital products. Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Researchers, and Scrum teams throughout the product life cycle. Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and collaborative design sessions with stakeholders. Clearly communicate design rationale and recommendations using customer insights and product data. Support user acceptance testing, design assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Use collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams. Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or Digital Product Designer. Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and user-centred design methodologies. Expertise in UX design, information architecture, interaction design, and user journey mapping. Advanced proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design. Experience conducting or supporting user research and usability testing. Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles. Experience working within Agile product development environments. Familiarity with design systems and component-based design approaches. Experience designing for large-scale digital products or customer-facing platforms. Knowledge of service design methodologies. Understanding of data-driven design and experimentation approaches. A passion for creating exceptional user experiences. The ability to work independently and deliver high-quality design outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
