We're partnering with a highly successful, values-led organisation seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their leadership team in a visible and influential role. This is an opportunity to step beyond traditional HR management and become a trusted adviser & commercial partner to operational leaders across a dynamic business unit.
This is a genuinely broad role where you'll have the autonomy to shape your agenda, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to both strategic people initiatives and day-to-day operational HR activity.
Working closely with senior leaders and site management teams, you'll provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR support across a wide range of people matters, including:
- Partnering with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design and talent strategy.
- Coaching and developing managers to build leadership capability.
- Leading on employee relations matters and providing expert HR guidance.
- Supporting succession planning, talent management and employee development initiatives.
- Driving employee engagement, culture and wellbeing programmes.
- Using HR data and business insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Contributing to wider people projects and organisational change initiatives.
- Acting as a trusted adviser who can challenge constructively while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
This role offers the opportunity to be both strategic and hands-on, with the freedom to influence decision-making and make a tangible impact on business performance.
About You
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who can confidently operate in a Business Partner capacity and build credibility at all levels of the organisation. You'll bring:
- Proven HR Business Partnering experience within a complex organisation.
- Strong employee relations expertise and sound employment law knowledge.
- Experience coaching, influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
- The ability to balance commercial objectives with people considerations.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and sound judgement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilise HR data.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience.
Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but is not essential. More important is your ability to build trust, understand the wider business context and provide commercially relevant HR advice.
