An organisation undergoing significant growth and change is seeking an experienced HR professional to support the development of key people frameworks and processes.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that can be delivered around agreed project outcomes, offering an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

Review, harmonise and draft employment contracts, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation and best practice.

Update and modernise the employee handbook, supporting implementation and communication across the business.

Conduct a full review of HR policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvement and consistency.

Develop and standardise job descriptions, role profiles and responsibilities across the organisation.

Support the delivery and analysis of employee engagement and satisfaction surveys.

Create and implement succession planning frameworks for key business-critical roles.

Review and standardise absence, sickness and bereavement policies across the wider business.

Design and roll out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support retention, performance and future recruitment.

Develop business continuity plans and knowledge-sharing frameworks for key personnel.

Provide guidance on employment law, compliance and HR best practice.

Support wider HR projects and organisational development initiatives as required.

About You

You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong background in creating or improving end-to-end HR infrastructure, policies and governance.

Experience of employment law, HR project work, organisational change, and policy development is essential.

Exposure to payroll, time and attendance systems, and HR transformation projects would be advantageous.
