Interim Senior Public Health Officer (Sexual Health) 400- 500 per day | 6-Month Contract | Birmingham (Hybrid) We are currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Programme Officer (Sexual Health) to join a large public sector organisation s Public Health team on a temporary basis.
This role has been created to provide additional capacity during a period of maternity leave cover and recruitment challenges, ensuring the continued delivery of key strategic sexual health priorities and commissioning programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced programme or project professional with a background in public health, healthcare commissioning, local government or the NHS.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic programme delivery, commissioning activity, performance management and stakeholder engagement across a high-profile Sexual Health portfolio.
The Role Reporting into the Service Lead, you will provide senior programme management support across a range of strategic workstreams, helping to drive delivery, monitor performance and ensure effective contract and budget management.
Key areas of focus include supporting the refresh of sexual health strategies and action plans, overseeing commissioning programmes, managing provider relationships and producing reports and briefings for senior leaders and partners.
