The Opportunity
As Recruitment Officer, you will manage and coordinate the full recruitment life cycle, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently, compliantly and with a strong focus on service delivery. Working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues, you will provide expert recruitment support from vacancy approval through to onboarding and induction.
This role would suit a highly organised individual who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities and delivering a first-class candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity from vacancy advertising through to appointment.
Review job descriptions and adverts to ensure compliance with legislation and recruitment best practice.
Manage candidate and hiring manager queries throughout the recruitment process.
Arrange and coordinate interviews, including preparing interview documentation and supporting interview panels.
Conduct pre-employment checks including right-to-work verification, references and other onboarding requirements.
Support the onboarding and induction process for new starters.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and HR systems in line with GDPR requirements.
Produce recruitment data, reports and statistics where required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across recruitment processes and candidate attraction activities.
Promote vacancies through relevant recruitment channels, including social media platforms.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience in a recruitment or HR recruitment-focused role, ideally coordinating recruitment campaigns from attraction through to onboarding.
Knowledge of UK recruitment legislation, right-to-work requirements and pre-employment screening processes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A customer-focused approach with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Desirable Experience
