A well-established further education organisation in Essex is looking for a proactive HR Business Partner to influence people strategy, support complex employee relations matters, and help deliver an outstanding employee experience across the organisation.

This is a temporary to permanent role.

Your new role

Provide expert HR leadership and advice on all employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, restructures, redundancies, TUPE and organisational change, minimising legal and employee relations risks.

Safeguarding to oversee and ensure compliance with safer recruitment practices and supporting the HRD in any safeguarding matters, including during Ofsted inspections.

Line Management of the HR team.

Responsible for implementation of all staff management processes including, appraisals, training and development.

Deputise for the Executive Director of HR as required, providing leadership and ensuring continuity of service across the HR function.

Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, pre-employment checks, contracts, performance management, family leave, absence management and employee exits, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and policies.

Provide proactive business partnering support to senior leaders and managers, building trusted relationships and coaching them on the effective application of HR policies, procedures and people management practices.

Work with the Executive Director of HR to deliver the HR Strategy, supporting organisational objectives, workforce planning, succession planning and talent development initiatives.

Drive improvements in people management capability and organisational performance, influencing managers to adopt effective leadership and employee management practices and addressing employment-related risks.

Lead the management and integrity of HR data, producing and analysing workforce metrics, management information and reports to monitor trends, evaluate policy effectiveness, support compliance, and inform strategic and operational decision-making. xgikmsk
