Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Change Consultant to join on a fixed term of 18 months to play a pivotal role in one of the most significant transformation programmes within local government. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will lead and support the people work stream of a major LGR programme. This is a highly visible role where you will provide specialist HR expertise across organisational design, consultation, TUPE, workforce integration, policy harmonisation and people-related risk management. This position would suit a senior HR professional with extensive experience delivering large-scale organisational change, business transformation, mergers, acquisitions or public sector reorganisation programmes. Your new role Reporting to the Head of HR, you will provide expert advice and leadership across complex change initiatives, ensuring organisational objectives are delivered in a legally compliant, people-focused and commercially effective manner. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the end-to-end HR delivery of organisational change programmes. Supporting the Local Government Reorganisation programme from due diligence through to full integration. Providing specialist advice on TUPE, redundancy, restructuring, consultation and organisational design.
