Your new company A well-established not-for-profit organisation with a strong focus on education, sustainability and community engagement is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join the business on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Your new role Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll provide both strategic and operational HR support across the organisation.

This is a standalone generalist role covering employee relations, recruitment, policy development, learning and development, workforce planning, performance management, compliance and HR reporting.

You'll also advise senior stakeholders, support organisational change and help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

What you'll need to succeed

CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).

Proven experience in a standalone HR generalist role.

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.

Experience advising managers and senior stakeholders.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Experience developing HR policies and procedures.

Unionised environment experience and knowledge of HR systems would be advantageous.

Welsh language skills or willingness to learn would be beneficial.
