Your New Organisation

We are partnering with a well-established organisation in South Birmingham that is undergoing a period of positive change and development. As part of a number of strategic people initiatives, they are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to support key HR projects and drive improvements across people processes, systems, and policies. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys project-based work and is confident leading HR initiatives while providing high-quality operational HR support.

Your New Role

As Senior HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and delivering a range of HR projects that contribute to the organisation's people strategy. Working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider HR team, you will take ownership of key initiatives including HR systems implementation, policy reviews and process improvement projects. Alongside project delivery, you will provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on a range of employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and lead HR projects across the employee lifecycle.
  • Assist with the implementation and optimisation of HR systems and processes.
  • Review, update and develop HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Analyse HR data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide first-class HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation and organisational requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive engagement and adoption of new processes and systems.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Project-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting or leading HR systems implementations, upgrades or optimisation projects.
  • Demonstrable experience reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
