Amey is looking for a skilled joiner to join our team at HMP Berwyn on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving the prison estate, ensuring a safe and functional environment for staff and residents. You’ll be responsible for delivering a range of joinery and carpentry tasks, working as part of a multi-skilled team in a secure and rewarding setting.
Your new role:
- Carry out planned and reactive joinery maintenance and repairs.
- Install and repair doors, windows, furniture, and other wooden fixtures.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and prison staff.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and tidy condition.
What you'll need to succeed:
