Hays Education are working with a caring and values-driven primary school seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a long-term position. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting the Christian ethos of the school and contributing positively to its aims and values. This is an excellent opportunity for both early career and experienced teachers who are looking to develop their practice further within a supportive, community-focused environment.
In this long-term teaching position, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons, while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. You will attend staff meetings, parent evenings and open days as part of your wider school responsibilities, and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to support whole-school priorities.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Qualified Teacher with QTS
- Wants to immerse themselves fully in the life of the school
- Has experience teaching within KS1 or Lower KS2
- Can deliver creative, cross-curricular approaches to learning
- Works confidently and professionally in partnership with all staff
