Hays Education is partnering with a growing number of schools across Telford that are seeking passionate and dedicated EYFS and KS1 Teachers. With rising demand for high quality practitioners in early primary education, we are supporting schools with both short term cover and long term staffing needs.
As an EYFS & KS1 Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, depending on your experience and preference. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting children’s early development, and fostering a positive learning environment across a range of Telford and Wrekin schools.
This is an excellent role if you enjoy the early stages of primary learning and want a balance of flexibility, variety, and meaningful classroom impact.
We can offer:
- Advanced bookings as well as same day cover
- Full day or half day assignments (AM or PM)
- Daily, short term supply
- Long term positions lasting from 2 weeks to the remainder of the academic year
We’ll work closely with you to match your skills, preferences and availability with schools needing your expertise.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS
- Recent experience teaching within EYFS and/or KS1 in a UK primary setting, with the ability to provide references
- A nurturing, patient approach alongside strong classroom and behaviour management
- Flexibility and confidence to work across different classrooms and school settings
