Your new role
We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Physics to join our dynamic Science department from January 2026. This is a permanent, full-time position, though part-time applications will be considered, and additional responsibilities may be available for the right candidate. You will teach across Key Stages 3 to 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students and promote a love of Physics. You’ll work closely with the Director of Learning for Science and a team of experienced professionals to create impactful learning experiences and support student progress.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A good degree in Physics or a related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching across at least two key stages, including Key Stage 5
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to inspire, challenge and motivate students
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the wider school community
