Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Sustainment Officer for a local housing association on a temporary basis in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
Your new role will be to provide support and guidance to tenants at risk of losing their homes, helping them to maintain their tenancies and live independently. The role involves working closely with vulnerable individuals to address issues such as rent arrears, budgeting, welfare benefits, and access to support services.
You will be expected to:
- Deliver tailored support plans to help tenants sustain their tenancies.
- Liaise with housing officers, homeowners, and external agencies to coordinate support.
- Provide advice on budgeting, debt management, and accessing benefits.
- Identify and address risks to tenancy sustainment, including anti-social behaviour and health-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports on outcomes and progress.
- Promote tenant independence and wellbeing through proactive engagement.
In order to be considered for the role, you must have:
