The predicted salary is between 39600 - 66000 £ per year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in process improvement, developing models and reporting within systems. This role provides the opportunity to work on exciting projects and plays a key part in supporting decision-making, through robust reporting and modelling. You will be fully embedded in the maintenance and development of the forecasting and reporting tool whilst working closely with stakeholders across the Finance department and the wider business.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to forecast revenue, analyse performance metrics, and evaluate business trends.
- Conduct macroeconomic analysis and report key insights to senior stakeholders to inform strategic planning.
- Produce market share and competitor comparison reports to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
- Lead the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of financial planning tools and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable financial insights.
- Support the development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for process and margin improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and strategic presentations to senior leadership.
- Provide financial modelling and analysis for business cases, investment proposals, and strategic initiatives, including ROI, cost-benefit, and sensitivity analysis.
- Participate in strategic projects, offering financial expertise to guide planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and tools to streamline reporting and planning processes.
- Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests from various departments to support agile and informed decision-making.
What you'll need to succeed:
- ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or relevant commercial experience.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling and interpreting large datasets.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modelling.
- Familiarity with financial systems and data visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Experience working with software solutions similar to Workday etc.
