An established and highly regarded UK professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its change and technology function on a 14-month fixed-term contract.

Operating within a regulated environment, the business is investing heavily in technology, operational improvement and business transformation initiatives that support long-term growth and enhance client services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience delivering technology projects within a law firm or legal services environment who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and driving meaningful business change.

Your new role

Reporting into the change function, you will take ownership of a portfolio of technology and business change projects from inception through to implementation and handover into business-as-usual operations.

Working alongside senior leadership, suppliers and delivery teams, you will ensure projects are delivered successfully, providing structure, ernance and clearmunication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of IT and business change projects.
  • Defining project scope, plans, milestones, budgets and timelines.
  • Leading projecternance, reporting, risk and issue management.
  • Managing third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting business case development and benefits realisation.
  • Driving successful implementation, adoption and transition into BAU.
  • Contributing to wider transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong track record of delivering technology projects within a legal environment and be confident working with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven Project Management experience delivering IT and business change projects.
  • Previous experience working within a law firm, legal services business or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing projecternance, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management andmunication skills.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2, Agile PM, PMP or equivalent.
