Hays is delighted to be working on a sole agency basis with a well-established Professional Services company based near to Solihull. The company are market leaders in their field and offer excellent hybrid working and competitive benefits.
As Finance Manager, you will lead a specific business area and have responsibility for the leadership of a small team of circa 3. The key duties involve effective financial accounting for the general ledger, production of the group's financial reporting and delivery of month and year-end reporting. Other areas of the role will involve liaison with other areas of the finance team, assisting with any improvements to the internal finance process. This is a technically focussed role, reporting to the Group Financial Controller.
We are looking for a qualified, technically capable Financial Accountant who has previous experience managing teams. This role could suit someone who has trained in an Accountancy Practice and has one or two roles in industry, but could also be a great role for an industry-trained Financial Accountant. We are looking for someone who is also comfortable working in a professional services, regulated environment and is happy to adopt new changes and processes.
Hybrid working, 2 - 3 days per week in the office. Generous benefits and a great role to progress.
