Your new role:
- Oversee classroom learning in the absence of the class teacher.
- Experience with classroom behavioural management, following the school’s policies and procedures to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Deliver engaging sessions across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach in specialised subjects such as maths, science, and English.
- Step into diverse classrooms across the picturesque district of West Lancashire.
- Adapt quickly to different school cultures and follow lesson plans.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- You do not need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or subject specialism for the role.
- Experience working with young people either in a school setting or other environments such as youth care, social care, charity work, or mentoring.
- Experience in behavioural management and be able to build a rapport.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive in supporting schools at short notice.
- The right to work in the UK with an enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
