Your new employer, Hays Belfast, is recruiting on behalf of a Belfast-based contractor to find a Working Site Supervisor. This employer offers a wide range of building services, specialising in small to medium-sized contracts across residential properties and small commercial projects. They work with clients such as Education and Library Boards, Health Trusts, Housing Associations, and private property developers.
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Working Site Supervisor to join their workforce. The successful candidate will be involved in diverse projects across Northern Ireland, ranging in value up to £400k. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring work is completed within timeframe and budget.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Acting as the representative for the contractor on site, handling and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Coordinating joinery tasks in line with project and client priorities.
- Ensuring there are adequate materials and resources available for projects to be completed successfully.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience working at a similar level on similarly styled projects across sectors such as residential, fit out, and building. You should come from a joinery background and have valid tickets associated with being on site (NVQ Level 3 and above). The successful applicant must be able to work on their own initiative to deal with any issues that may arise on projects while being an excellent communicator to allow projects to run smoothly, often liaising with senior management and clients throughout.
