Your new company Hays Education are currently recruiting to fill supply teacher jobs at Primary Schools in Sheffield. These jobs are to cover teachers, whether that be for sickness cover or pre-planned allocated time for PPA. Most of the lessons will be pre-planned for you to deliver to the allocated class.
We are looking to fill the jobs with flexible teachers who are able to work within KS1 groups in Primary Schools across Sheffield as well as the wider South Yorkshire area. If you are looking to start building key relationships within Primary Schools in the South Yorkshire area, then this is the job for you.
This role is on a full-time or part-time basis and will be suited to those who have a passion for teaching in KS1 across multiple Primary Schools in Sheffield. The schools will be looking for someone with strong and adaptable classroom skills as you will be covering the class duties for the day; the job is open to teachers with ECT status as well as experienced teachers. You will be responsible for picking up a teacher’s day-to-day classroom responsibilities and covering KS1 classes. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in multiple primary schools with the potential for a different school each day. These classes will be expecting a consistent approach even though you will be providing supply cover for the day.

What you'll need to succeed:
- You should have experience teaching within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Hold a UK QTS & a PGCE.
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
