As EMEA Tax Manager, you’ll take ownership of tax compliance across a portfolio of European entities, ensuring timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns. This is a hands-on role with a broad scope, offering exposure to a wide range of tax topics across the UK and continental Europe. You’ll coordinate with local advisors, manage VAT filings, support R&D claims, oversee transfer pricing calculations, and assist with global tax provision under US GAAP. You’ll also play a key role in implementing tax technology solutions and navigating evolving international tax frameworks such as BEPS and ViDA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving process improvements and efficiencies.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- A recognised tax or accounting qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA)
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and tax compliance across multiple European jurisdictions
- Experience in a tax department (commerce preferred, practice considered)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to lead and inspire others
- Experience in change management and working within a matrix organisation
- Preferred: experience in the global software industry
