Your new company Hays is a leading education recruiter offering a part-time position with the possibility to transition into a full-time position in the Wirral area with a role for Level 2 and above qualified teaching assistant looking to start in November. Your new role As a Level 2 (or above) qualified General Teaching Assistant, you’ll be able to support an EYFS classroom working alongside the teacher to help manage daily routines and learning activities. You may assist small groups of children with tasks or provide general classroom support as well as be able to modify challenging behaviour by creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Also, if needed, be able to handle a 1:1 learning environment for a short amount of time. This is a flexible and rewarding role where your contribution makes a real difference every day.
What you’ll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be Level 2 qualified or above in childcare or education, with a proactive and supportive attitude. You should be confident working with children with different abilities, helping with group tasks and classroom routines. Strong communication, patience, and the ability to follow the teacher's directions are key. A genuine passion for education and a flexible approach will help you make a positive impact every day.
