About the Role:

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Do you thrive in a nurturing, inclusive, and dynamic school environment? Hays Education is seeking passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to join dedicated teams across a number of welcoming schools in Northamptonshire.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Fostering a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with communication, sensory, and emotional needs
  • Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and inclusive learning activities

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or other setting) is highly desirable.
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage, but not essential
