Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? Hays Education are supporting a Wirral based mainstream secondary school who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their strong and supportive SEND team. Hays Education are currently supporting a secondary school renowned for its strong relationship with the community and offering academic and personal growth for all students. We currently have vacancies for Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants. The role involves working collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to provide high-quality support for students across the school. You will be joining a strong SEN team and fantastic learning support department, who offer the opportunity to train and develop the right candidate for the role. This is a long term opportunity and the school are committed to supporting the development of the successful candidate.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Fostering a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with communication, sensory, and emotional needs
  • Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and inclusive learning activities
