We are working with an established nursery who is currently recruiting for a Room Leader for one of their rooms. The nursery prides itself on creating a secure, engaging, and joyful setting where children can discover, learn, and develop. Their nurseries are renowned for their friendly, inviting environment and their steadfast commitment to excellent early childhood education. The nursery is open all year round, except for over Christmas, and cares for babies and children from 0-5 years old. The nursery setting is rated 'Good' on Ofsted.

In your new role you will be based in one of the rooms in the nursery as the Room Leader. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and manage a nursery room, maintaining top care and educational standards.
  • Design and implement captivating and age-appropriate activities.
  • Track and nurture children's development and well-being.
  • Cultivate strong bonds with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Consistently uphold safety and hygiene standards.
  • Guide and mentor other staff members within the room.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or higher).
  • Proven experience working with young children in a nursery environment.
  • Strong leadership and organisational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
