We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Lettings Coordinator to join our busy Lettings & Tenancy Sustainment Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to customers.
As a Lettings Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring properties are marketed effectively, let promptly, and customers are supported throughout the process. You’ll be responsible for coordinating viewings, sign-ups, and tenancy checks, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient lettings.
Key Responsibilities- Market and promote available properties using creative and innovative approaches, including social media.
- Coordinate pre-tenancy interviews, property viewings, and sign-up appointments.
- Carry out affordability checks and assist customers with securing rent in advance where needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
- Maintain accurate records and manage administration for new lets and relets.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support tenancy sustainability and customer satisfaction.
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach.
- Good knowledge of housing management functions and lettings legislation.
- Understanding of Choice-Based Lettings.
- Excellent IT skills, including CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Experience marketing properties.
- Previous experience working with vulnerable customers.
