They offer woodland, garden design & planning consultancy from their team of highly qualified Arboriculturists, Ecologists, Foresters, Garden Designers, Landscape Architects, Soil Specialists and Contractors. Their in-house operational teams make project delivery much easier and more rewarding.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of ecologists, landscape architects, foresters, GIS consultants, and operational staff to ensure that our clients receive high-quality arboricultural advice and support.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical expertise in arboriculture to support our clients' projects.
- Conduct tree surveys and assessments, including tree condition surveys, tree hazard assessments, and tree risk assessments.
- Prepare and review arboricultural reports, management plans, and other technical documents to support planning applications and project delivery.
- Provide advice and guidance on tree protection and planting, including the design and implementation of tree preservation plans.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that arboricultural issues are identified and resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure that arboricultural requirements are met.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff, including technical training and professional development.
- Contribute to business development and marketing activities to grow our arboricultural services.
- Proven experience in arboricultural consultancy roles, preferably in the residential or land development sectors.
- A degree in arboriculture, forestry, or a related field.
- Experience in conducting tree surveys and assessments, including tree condition surveys, tree hazard assessments, and tree risk assessments.
- Knowledge of arboricultural legislation, regulations, and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
