Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at Primary Schools in Canterbury, Kent. These jobs are supply cover and will cover a variety of schools across Canterbury. This will entail working day-to-day in different primary schools covering a variety of different year groups however these can be tailored to the years you feel mostfortable with. In this role, you will have the ability to choose when you work as supply work will be given to you based on the availability that you provide to us.
Your new role
This role can be on a full or part-time basis and will be suited to those who have a passion for teaching across multiple Primary Schools. The schools will be looking for someone with strong and adaptable classroom skills as you will be covering the class for the day; the role is open to ECT\’s. The successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers in the year to form a collaborative team. If you like the challenge of working in multiple primary schools in the Canterbury area, then this is the role for you! Many supply teachers who have worked for Hays have gone on to build solid and lasting relationships with schools in the Canterbury area – this has led to some teachers securing long-term and permanent positions following their work in supply.
What you\’ll need to succeed
• You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.
• Experience teaching in a Primary School.

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status.
