Your new company Hays Education Wirral is a market leading recruitment agency supporting primary schools across the Wirral Local Authority. We are currently working with a Wirral-based Primary School to recruit a part-time primary teacher to cover PPA and management release time in classes from Year 2 - Year 3. This role will start asap and run for the remainder of the academic year.

Your new role This PPA teaching job involves working every Wednesday during term time. On those days, you will be responsible for delivering sessions across the school that have been planned by the class teacher. Liaising with the class teachers, you deliver the planned sessions and feedback on the class performance during each session. A timetable has been set already so you will know what classes you are supporting when throughout each day.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in securing this PPA teaching job you will:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have a flexible teaching style and be happy to adapt to working in different classes throughout the school day
  • Be able to deliver pre-planned lessons and feedback to the class teacher
  • Have strong Literacy and Numeracy skills, and be comfortable working within the Key Stage 2 curriculum
