You’ll be joining a leading infrastructure services provider delivering essential projects within the highways sector. This is a short-term opportunity to support a major highways contract by providing additional commercial capacity.

Full-time contract: 5 days per week, 8:00-17:00

Ideal Start Date: 19th January 2026

Your new role

As an Estimator, you will work within the commercial team to support estimating activities and develop star rates for ongoing projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and developing star rates for review and submission
  • Supporting the commercial team with pricing and cost analysis
  • Liaising with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to gather information
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual and company standards

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as an Estimator within highways or civil engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of NEC3/4 contracts and Highways Method of Measurement
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
