Your new company are a highly ambitious construction SME based in Oldham. They have been established for over 20+ years and are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to head up their finance department.
In your role as Finance Manager you will manage all aspects of the finance function, including but not limited to:
- Production of the management accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- Currency transactions
- Payroll (150 staff)
- VAT returns
You will manage a small but efficient finance team of 2. The successful candidate will play a keen part in the future strategic decisions of the business.
What you'll need to succeed:
- ACCA/CIMA or QBE with experience working within an owner-managed SME
- A very hands-on approach to accounting
- Willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done
- Management of other office duties outside of finance would be advantageous
