I am working with a school in Nottingham that is seeking a proactive and reliable Premises Officer on a temporary, full-time basis.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Keeping the school clean, safe and well-maintained through basic repairs, site checks and general upkeep
- Opening and securing the building, including setting and unsetting alarms
- Monitoring cleaning standards and supporting the cleaning team where needed
- Carrying out routine safety checks and completing simple maintenance records
- Managing stock, ordering supplies and ensuring equipment is stored safely
- Supporting with lettings, events and day-to-day site operations
- Liaising with external contractors and assisting with small on-site projects
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Previous school-based experience in a premises, caretaking or maintenance role
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Someone organised, dependable and able to work safely at all times
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
- A calm, reliable approach and the ability to multitask confidently
