Your new role involves working on a highways improvement scheme in the Norfolk region as a Site Agent, with a strong focus on structures such as bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other associated works. This role includes supervising and monitoring site activities, including subcontractor packages, ensuring delivery aligns with company procedures, programme requirements, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to site teams, fostering strong communication across all functions and ensuring smooth delivery of structural works.
- Work closely with supply chain partners to develop and challenge design solutions for highway structures, escalate technical issues, and prepare temporary works briefs.
- Plan and manage short-term programmes for structural activities, monitor progress, and ensure effective sequencing and interface management between structures and other highway elements.
- Assist with subcontract scope reviews, ensuring structural packages align with delivery requirements and assessing applications for payment.
- Promote a culture of quality, manage inspections for structural works, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
