Working as a Weighbridge Clerk / Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing the weighbridge operation, including weighing of inbound and outbound vehicles, logging and recording all information.
  • Route planning and communicating with the drivers regarding current and next day’s deliveries.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Putting together quotes for work, taking orders and raising them on the system.
  • Raising jobs on the CRM system – Waste Logic.
  • Updating customers on the progress of their order / delivery status.

This is a fast-paced office environment with a focus on providing first-class customer service in a timely manner.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You’ll have relevant experience of working on a weighbridge / dealing with customer orders.
  • You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be a good team player.
  • You’ll be able to think on your feet and prioritise.
  • You’ll be IT literate and comfortable picking up new systems.
  • Previous experience of Weighbridge operation or Logistics Administration is highly advantageous.
  • You’ll be dealing with customers on a daily basis, so you’ll be comfortable speaking to people at all levels.

What you’ll get in return:

This is a permanent role to start ASAP. This is a fully office-based role. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, half an hour for lunch, 37.5 hours per week. £10 per hour. The office is located in the Newport area.
