About the Role
Are you a skilled Engineer with experience in automatic gate systems? We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Gate Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and repairing essential security and access systems at a major Utilities Facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and repair automatic gate systems, rapid roller shutters, security barriers, sliding gates, and other M&E building services.
- Carry out reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with service agreements.
- Prioritise and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations and optimum service delivery.
- Respond promptly to callouts and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain accurate documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Recognised technical qualifications relevant to multi-skilled engineering.
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
- Experience with automatic gate and barrier systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
