Hays Technology is looking for an EUC Engineer to join an exciting clientβs team. You will be responsible for providing hardware and deskside support across the organisation. This role is five days on site.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for building and supporting hardware systems across the organisation.
- Cover end-to-end hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, configuration, testing, and secure disposal.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware solutions.
- Supporting both on-site and remote environments and users, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
- Deliver reliable and secure hardware solutions that meet organisational requirements and performance.
- Minimise downtime by proactively identifying and resolving hardware issues.
- Ensure all hardware assets are managed in line with compliance protocols.
What we are looking for:
- Someone who is proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues across laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
- A strong understanding of hardware architecture and component compatibility.
- Knowledge of secure hardware handling practices, including data sanitisation and destruction protocols.
- The ability to work within strict compliance frameworks.
- Experience in hardware installation, configuration, and lifecycle management in enterprise environments.
- Previous work in secure or classified environments, adhering to strict data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Hands-on experience with secure disposal of data-bearing devices in compliance with organisational and legal standards.
- A proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated hardware solutions.
- Experience managing hardware assets within ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
