We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK main contractor delivering high-quality residential and commercial developments. This role will be based on a flagship project in Manchester, contributing to the successful delivery of a large-scale scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all cost-related aspects of the project from inception to completion
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Oversee procurement and manage subcontractor accounts
- Provide accurate reporting to support project delivery and profitability
- Manage valuations and variations
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential housing / apartment schemes
- JCT experience
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
