Your new firm
We are partnering with a major accountancy firm with multiple offices across the Northwest region to search for a Tax Advisory Senior Manager/Director. This firm provides a range of advisory and accounting services to a largely owner-managed businesses / entrepreneurial client base. A modern practice, they have 160+ staff spread across multiple office locations, with tax being a key service line as they continue to build and grow. The tax team makes up around 20% of the overall headcount, providing advisory services to a well-rounded and varied portfolio.
Your new role
Due to growth and market opportunity, they are now looking to bring in an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager/Director with experience of M&A work, such as demergers, corporate restructuring, group reorganisations, exit/succession planning and setting up share schemes. You will be working closely with the Partner and Head of Tax to support the team in delivering work to a high standard, leading from both an operational and client perspective. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, you will be working alongside one of the largest and most successful corporate finance teams in the North, based out of Manchester.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience providing tax advisory services to SMEs, start-ups, owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients, in areas such as demergers, acquisitions, corporate restructuring, group reorganisations, exit/succession planning and setting up share schemes. You should be technically competent, with strong commercial acumen, and the gravitas to communicate and lead from the front.
