We are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to provide Long-Term cover at a school in the Manchester area. You will join a team of dedicated and experienced staff in the Early Years Department, supporting the class teacher and the children in their early development.

Your role will be supporting in an Early Years setting; observing children in continuous provision, helping the teacher in organising engaging activities, preparing snack times and monitoring their safety.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • It is essential that you have experience teaching in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Hays if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
  • A range of behaviour management strategies are desirable.
