A leading and fast-growing accountancy practice is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Business Outsourcing Services team. This firm is known for delivering exceptional client service and providing a wide range of solutions including tax, advisory, and accountancy services.
As Assistant Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of clients and deliver a variety of services including statutory accounts, bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and system health checks. You will take the lead in client relationships, identify opportunities within your portfolio, and use automation and cloud technologies to improve efficiencies. This is a permanent role based in Manchester, with hybrid working available after initial training.
Key responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality outsourcing services
- Provide advice and solutions to client accounting queries
- Lead client relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Use internal and cloud accounting software to streamline processes
- Support and develop junior team members
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
