Hays are working with a charity based here in Bristol to recruit a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner for a minimum period of 12 months.
Your new role
This role plays a vital part in supporting the business during systems implementation. While not directly managing the implementation, it requires flexibility during this period of change. The responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accurate reporting in monthly management accounts and annual reports.
- Owning the monthly reporting process, explaining variances and trends.
- Preparing monthly reports and presenting them to key stakeholders.
- Analyzing the balance sheet to identify risks and opportunities.
- Collaborating with wider teams and stakeholders on finance matters.
- Raising and issuing invoices with correct VAT application.
- Preparing budgets and distributing them across the organization.
- Supporting ongoing systems transformation as needed.
What you\’ll need to succeed
