You’ll be joining a well‑established organisation operating within a busy, fast‑paced environment. The team manages a high volume of contractors and visitors daily, ensuring smooth operations and secure key control within a central store room. You will be part of a supportive team where accuracy, organisation and professionalism are key.
As a Key Room Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operation of a busy key room and stores area. Your duties will include issuing and receiving keys, maintaining accurate records, supporting contractors as they sign in and out, and ensuring the store room remains clean, organised and compliant with site procedures. This temporary role requires strong attention to detail and confidence working in a contractor-heavy environment.
Pay: £ p/hr. Pay types are PAYE or Umbrella. We do not pay CIS.
Hours: Monday – Friday – 8:30-17:00
Location: Loughborough, single site
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with a polite and professional manner
- Ability to manage a busy key room with contractors coming in and out throughout the day
- Previous key room, keyholder, security lodge or stores experience (desirable)
