An established wholesale insurance broker operating in the London Market is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join its Property & Casualty (Wholesale) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic business that values expertise, client relationships, and growth.

In this role, you will support the growth of new business and help deliver high-quality placement outcomes for UK Property and Casualty risks. You will work closely with retail brokers to qualify enquiries, gather risk information, and prepare presentations. You will assist with placing risks into the London Market and help negotiate coverage and pricing under supervision. Your responsibilities will also include managing renewals, processing new business, and maintaining an accurate pipeline. You will develop your market knowledge and ensure compliance with FCA requirements and internal governance standards.

To succeed in this role, you should hold or be working towards Cert CII and have at least one year of experience in UK Property and Casualty insurance or a relevant administrative role. Exposure to broking or underwriting environments will be advantageous. You will need strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and commercial awareness, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is essential, and familiarity with broker systems and Lloyd’s platforms will be beneficial.
