An established wholesale insurance broker operating in the London Market is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join its Property & Casualty (Wholesale) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic business that values expertise, client relationships, and growth.
In this role as an Account Executive within the Property and Casualty team, you will be responsible for driving profitable new business and delivering high-quality placement outcomes for UK Property & Casualty risks. You will engage with retail brokers to generate enquiries, qualify and collect risk information, present competitive terms, and close sales. You will also negotiate coverage, wording, and pricing with insurers, manage renewals, and proactively grow your portfolio through new business opportunities. A key part of your role will be maintaining strong relationships with retail brokers and ensuring that risks are placed effectively in the London Market. You will manage your pipeline to achieve portfolio retention and growth while staying up to date with market trends and product knowledge. Compliance with FCA requirements and internal policies will also be essential.
To succeed in this role, you will need to hold a Cert CII qualification, with Dip CII or ACII being desirable. You should have a minimum of three years’ experience in UK Property & Casualty insurance and demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills. You will need technical knowledge of P&C classes and experience with London Market placement. Excellent organisational and communication skills, combined with commercial acumen, will be key to your success.
