We are part of a leading financial institution’s London Operations team, focusing on transaction reporting. Regulatory changes and business growth have created the need to expand our capacity. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely submissions of regional transaction reporting obligations to relevant authorities. The role also involves supporting change management projects driven by evolving regulatory requirements. Current priorities include EMIR, so experience with Refit is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely transaction reporting to meet regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor and manage exception processes effectively.
  • Maintain and enhance documentation (process flows, procedures).
  • Strengthen control frameworks around reporting processes.
  • Provide analytical support for regulatory change initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between business requirements and technology solutions.
  • Coordinate testing and implementation for regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on trade issues and regulatory interpretations.
  • Prepare and deliver management information reports.
  • Manage issue resolution and drive process improvements.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and forums.
  • Support leadership responsibilities within the team.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in transaction reporting operations, particularly EMIR and MiFID.
  • Knowledge of SFTR is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with OTC derivatives, fixed income, and equities; middle office experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA skills advantageous).
