Your new company Hays have partnered with a leading investment bank to appoint an experienced Business Analyst to a 12-month contract across a variety of T+1 projects. If you're a strong BA, with a background in banking and extensive experience in T+1 settlements and clearing, then we want to hear from you.

Your new role As the Senior Business Analyst, you will lead business analysis activities for medium to large projects in the T+1 domain, ensuring successful delivery of requirements across planning, elicitation, documentation, and management. You’ll work closely with diverse stakeholder groups, apply advanced analysis techniques, and guide junior analysts to maintain high standards and consistency.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing detailed requirements plans and estimates
- Facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions with stakeholders
- Documenting business and system requirements using enterprise standards
- Managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including change control and traceability
- Supporting QA, UAT, and implementation activities
- Providing leadership and mentoring within the BA team
What you'll need to succeed Experience:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst on large, complex projects
Education:
- Degree in Business Analysis or related field; CBAP or PMI-PBA certification preferred
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile methodologies
- Expertise in requirements planning, elicitation, and documentation techniques
- Proficiency in business process modelling, use cases, user stories, and non-functional requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
