Your new job working as a PI Account Executive will be based in the City of London for an Independent Lloyd’s Broker. Your new Brokers employ over 300 staff around the UK. They have grown rapidly in the last 20 years to be one of the top independent brokers in the UK dealing with over 16,000+ clients. Having completed numerous successful acquisitions, the company has secured further funding to continue its ambitious growth plans. They hold Chartered Insurance Broker status, awarded in recognition of their commitment to maintaining the highest standards in many areas.
Due to growth within their Professional Lines division, a permanent role for a Professional Indemnity Account Executive has arisen.
Your new role working as a PI Account Executive means you will be working on your own portfolio of renewal book of business as well as being able to upsell and cross-sell and bring in new business where possible. Premiums are typically £20,000+. This is a full account management role as well as Broking to Lloyd’s and company Markets. On a daily basis, you will be liaising with clients and underwriters extensively. Business handled will be all classes of PI including D&C, Architects, Accountants, Engineers, Brokers and the occasional Media, FI, and Fin Tech business.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Your previous experience working as an Account Executive handling Professional Indemnity business will contribute to your success in securing this role.
- You will need to have the ability to cross sell and upsell and or be able to bring in new business where possible.
- You will have strong knowledge of insurance products, markets and underwriting processes as well as proficiency in insurance platforms and systems.
- You will be able to demonstrate an ability to generate new business and manage client portfolios effectively whilst running your own book of business as well as strong client servicing and relationship-building skills.
