A well‑established and forward‑thinking accountancy practice is looking to recruit a Part‑Qualified Senior Accountant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working with a diverse client portfolio and is seeking long‑term progression within practice.
You will play a key role in delivering a high‑quality service to a varied client base, working across audit and accounts assignments both in the office and at client sites. You will also support the development of junior team members and work closely with supervisors and managers to ensure work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities will include:- Preparation and completion of audit and statutory accounts
- Reviewing work prepared by trainees and junior staff
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of junior team members
- Liaising directly with clients and building long‑term relationships
- Supporting managers and partners on a range of client assignments
- ACCA or ICAEW part‑qualified (certificate level and some professional exams completed)
- Recent experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Exposure to audit, accounts, bookkeeping and tax
- Strong knowledge of UK compliance requirements
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
- A proactive, client‑focused approach with strong communication skills
